About
Tania Simoes is a self-taught artist who has been practicing drawing and painting since her childhood. The impressionist movement, human condition, design, and natural world inspire her. She works with a wide range of mediums - primarily oil paint, gouache, pastels, and ink - to poetically capture notions of longing, intimacy, and beauty.
Born in Portugal and raised in Hamilton, Canada, Tania currently works and lives in Toronto. Tania’s work is held in numerous private collections.
